A protection zone is an area that consists of associated alarm sources and alarm output devices. Users can enable and disable the devices in the protection zone and set alarm linkage policies for the protection zone. When an alarm source generates an alarm in the protection zone, surveillance personnel can invoke devices in the protection zone to handle the alarm promptly.
When an alarm is generated, the system automatically responds based on the preset alarm linkage rule, such as recording video and taking snapshots. This helps users handle the alarm promptly.
Due to limited access capabilities of a single VCN3000, large-scale offices often deploy a large number of VCN3000s to meet service demands. The stack management feature of the VCN3000 can efficiently manage a large number of VCN3000s. This feature provides a variety of benefits to customers, including the following:
Centralized management, reducing operation and maintenance costs.
Unified service operation portal, making service operations more convenient.
Note:
Here, V100R002C20 is used as an example. For other versions, see the product documentation.
Maximum number of camera sequencing resources that can be added on the VCN3000:

Each camera sequencing resource supports a maximum of 1024 cameras.
A single camera sequencing plan supports a maximum of 16 camera sequencing resources.
A single camera sequencing supports a maximum of 24 video panes.
The camera sequencing interval ranges from 8s to 600s.
