MiniMCU capabilities of the Huawei ViewPoint 8039-M

Built-in MCU specifications of the TE endpoint: A miniMCU supports a maximum of 6 video sites and 3 audio sites (local site included).

There are two models of ViewPoint 9030 endpoints, one supporting 720p and the other supporting 1080p. You can choose Maintenance > Querying System Information and check whether the current ViewPoint 9030 supports 1080p.

The MiniMCU of the Huawei ViewPoint 9039S-M can be cascaded with other MCUs provided by Huawei. You can cascade the MiniMCU with other MCUs using either of the following methods: 1. Add the Huawei ViewPoint 9039S-M to a conference initiated on another MCU. Then, use the Huawei ViewPoint 9039S-M to add other sites. 2. Use the Huawei ViewPoint 9039S-M to add one or more sites. Then, call the Huawei ViewPoint 9039S-M to join the conference through another MCU.

"Video capabilities of the Huawei ViewPoint 9000 series endpoint: ViewPoint 9039, ViewPoint 9036, ViewPoint 9035, and ViewPoint 9033: HD OUT 1: This video output port is used to transmit local video, remote video, and presentations. It supports the combined picture mode. If the endpoint is not in any conference, this port delivers the local video stream by default; after the endpoint joins a conference, this port delivers the remote video stream by default. HD OUT 2: This video output port is used to transmit local video, remote video, and presentations. It does not support the combined picture mode. If the endpoint is not in any conference, this port delivers the local video by default; after the endpoint joins a conference, this port delivers the remote video by default. HD OUT 3: This video output port is used to transmit local video, remote video, and presentations. It does not support the combined picture mode. If the endpoint is not in any conference, this port delivers the local video by default; after the endpoint joins a conference, this port delivers the remote video by default.

The MiniMCU of the ViewPoint 9039 supports up to Nine SD video channels and three audio channels Six HD video channels and three audio channels The MiniMCU of the ViewPoint 9036 supports up to Six SD video channels and three audio channels Four HD video channels and three audio channels The MiniMCU of the Huawei ViewPoint 9039A/9039S supports up to Six SD video channels and three audio channels Six HD video channels and three audio channels The MiniMCU of the Huawei ViewPoint 9036S/9030/9035A supports up to Four SD video channels and three audio channels Four HD video channels and three audio channels The preceding total number (9, 6, 4, and 3) of supported channels include the one used by the local MiniMCU. In SD video sites, the resolution format is 4CIF or below 4CIF. In HD video site, the resolution format is 720p or above 720p.
