Run the system-view conf-policy h263plus-aux 1 command to enable H263+ for ViewPoint 8000 series MCUs.

The default password of the remote control UI of the Huawei ViewPoint 8000 series endpoint is 2000.

Perform troubleshooting based on the following possible causes: 1. The mode of the endpoint output port is not set correctly. The mode of the endpoint output port should be the same as the mode of the display input port. For example, when you configure the endpoint settings, select Video output on the remote control UI, and set the output mode to S-Video in Setting if the display supports S-Video, or set the output mode to CVBS in Setting if the display supports CVBS. 2. A transfer cable is used for video input. The Huawei ViewPoint 8000 series endpoint supports the S-Video or CVBS cable only for video input. The S-Video-to-CVBS cable is not supported, but it applies to video output. When the camera uses the CVBS port, connect the endpoint through the Video IN 2 port, and set the input source to Video IN 2 on the remote control UI. When the camera uses the S-Video port, connect the endpoint through the Video IN 1 port, and set the input source to Video IN 1 on the remote control UI.
