How can I specify a signaling board for the MCU?

The TWC board can function as the regeneration board of the LDG board.

Processing for OSC signals is different from that for ESC signals. An SC2 board concurrently processes two OSC signals of different directions, transits and exacts the system overhead, and sends the signals to the SCC board. OSC signals occupy a dedicated wavelength for transmitting monitoring and OAM information. Transmission of ESC signals does not require dedicated monitoring units such as SC2. The ESC signals and service information are carried over the same wavelength, which does not require extra wavelength resources.

To query the signaling board of the ViewPoint 8660 or 8650 MCU, perform the following operations: Log in to the MCU through telnet (use SSH2 to log in for the security hardening version). Run the display board command and check the Function column. The item marked with signal is the signaling board.

Check the following three items: Whether strong interference sources exist near the camera. Whether the device voltage is stable. Whether the device is properly grounded.
