How do I remove the participant names displayed on the MCU?

To add participants in a conference, perform the following operations: 1. Log in to the SMC2.0 web interface as the admin user. 2. Choose Conference > Scheduled Conference. 3. On the Scheduled Conference page, click Add Participant and select participants to add them to the conference.

You can enable SMC2.0 broadcast participants to view the chair participant on the MCU. Choose Settings > Conference and set Broadcast participant will view to Chair participant On the Policy for Scheduling and Controlling a Conference tab page.

The site name can be displayed in the lower right, lower left, upper right, or upper left corner of the local video. By default, the site name is displayed in the lower right corner. To adjust the display position of the site name, use either of the following methods: On the user interface, choose Advanced > Settings > Display > Personalize and set Display position. On the web interface, choose System Settings > Display > Site Name and set Position of site name.

ViewPoint 8000 series MCUs do not support participant name display. VP9000 series MCUs support participant name display. The configuration method is as follows: Log in to the MCU web interface, choose Settings > Conference > Display Policy, deselect Display participant name, and save the setting.

In a conference initiated using the MCU, the continuous presence is automatic, and participants in the main and sub panes will change. To fix participants displayed in the main and sub panes, perform the following operations: 1. Log in to the SMC2.0 web interface. 2. Choose Conference > Scheduled Conference and select participants. 3. Click Set Continuous Presence. 4. Select the continuous presence mode, select participants in Scheduled Conference, and drag them into main and sub panes. 5. Click OK. Note: If the ViewPoint 8000 series MCU is used, you need to configure the continuous presence on the MCU first.
