TE Mobile (Android) installation method

After an Android mobile device is connected to a 3G network (some tablets also support 3G networks) or a Wi-Fi network, the TE Mobile installed on the device can connect to the communication network to place voice and video calls. The following procedure describes how to configure 3G and Wi-Fi network settings: To configure 3G network settings: Step 1 Power on the Android mobile device and enable the 3G network service on it. Step 2 On the Android mobile device, tap Settings. Step 3 On the displayed screen, tap Mobile networks. Step 4 On the displayed Mobile network settings screen, select Data enabled. To configure Wi-Fi network settings: Step 1: Ensure that a Wi-Fi network is available. Step 2 On the Android mobile device, tap Settings. Step 3 On the displayed screen, tap WLAN. Step 4 On the WLAN screen, turn the Wi-Fi switch to on and select the desired Wi-Fi access point.

TE Mobile (Android) server configuration method: Step 1 On the Android mobile device, start the TE Mobile. Step 2 Tap the setting icon in the lower right corner of the login screen and choose Server Settings. Step 3 On the Server Settings screen, configure server settings and tap Save. Note: 1. When you log in for the first time, only the server address is left empty by default. (Unless otherwise specified, retain the default values for other items.) 2. The server port number changes based on the selected transmission protocol. If you select TLS, the server port number is set to 5061. If you select UDP, the server port number is set to 5060. 3. The default transmission protocol is TLS. 4. If the default local port number is occupied, the TE Mobile automatically increases the port number. 5. The server settings take effect once you tap Save.

The method of configuring the iOS TE Mobile server is as follows: Configure the server address on the login page as follows: On the login page, enter the correct server address in server address text box. The default transmission mode is TLS, and the server port number is 5061 upon your initial login. Open the server configuration window as follows: 1. On the login page, tap the Settings button. The configuration window is displayed. 2. Tap Server Settings. Parameter description: The server address and port number indicate the IP address and port number of the SC server. Obtain the IP address and port number from the SC server administrator. The transmission mode indicates the protocol used for SIP signaling transmission. The TLS option indicates that TLS is used to ensure SIP signaling transmission security. If you select this option, you must import a TLS root certificate. By default, the Huawei TLS root certificate is imported. You can also import other root certificates. The UDP option indicates that UDP is used to implement optimized SIP signaling transmission. To install the TE Mobile (Android), perform the following operations: Step 1 On the Android phone or tablet, tap File Manager. Step 2 On the displayed screen, locate the .apk file that you downloaded just now. Touch it to start the installation. Step 3 On the installation wizard, tap Install to start the installation process. Step 4 When the installation is complete, tap Done.

Method of importing a certificate for the TE Mobile: Remarks: - A certificate needs to be imported for the Android TE Mobile only in TLS transmission mode. - A Huawei certificate has been provided for the TE Mobile, and no certificate needs to be imported by default. - If customers need to use their own certificates, import a certificate as follows. Before importing a certificate, ensure that the certificate is secure. You are advised to import a certificate issued by security authorities to prevent risks. To import a certificate for the Android TE Mobile, perform the following operations: 1. On the login page, tap Settings. 2. Tap Server and select Show Advanced Settings. 3. Under TLS Certificate, tap Huawei TLS Root Cert. Tap Import and select a required certificate. To import a certificate for the iOS TE Mobile, perform the following operations: 1. On the log page, tap Settings. 2. Tap Server. 3. Tap Huawei TLS Root Cert. and select the certificate you want to import.
