Method used to bond ports on OceanStor V3 unified storage systems
On OceanStor V300R001 storage systems, you can bond multiple iSCSI host ports. In doing so, the data transmission rate of these iSCSI host ports can be improved significantly (assuming other components do not reach their performance bottlenecks). For details, see Bonding Ethernet Ports .

Bonding of host ports on a storage device
1. Storage arrays support the 802.3ad bonding mode only. 2. If the ports on a storage device are bonded, the ports on the switch connected with the storage device must be aggregated and the ports on the server connected with the switch must be bonded. 3. Only the ports on the same controller can be bonded.

Requirements for NAS service port bonding on the OceanStor V3 storage
The network port binding mode of OceanStor V3 storage systems is bond4. After port bonding, the following restrictions apply: 1. You must configure the 802.3ad dynamic link aggregation control protocol (LACP) mode for corresponding bond ports on the switch. 2. The storage system does not support the following port binding modes: Bonding of both GE and 10GE ports Bonding of ports on different interface modules or on different nodes FCoE ports cannot be bonded.
