On OceanStor T Series V100R005 storage systems, you can bond multiple iSCSI host ports in 802.3ad mode. In doing so, the data transmission rate of these iSCSI host ports can be improved significantly (assuming other components do not reach their performance bottlenecks). Bonding of host ports on a storage device
1. Storage arrays support the 802.3ad bonding mode only. 2. If the ports on a storage device are bonded, the ports on the switch connected with the storage device must be aggregated and the ports on the server connected with the switch must be bonded. 3. Only the ports on the same controller can be bonded.
