Version mapping of software on hosts for OceanStor T Series

You can map LUNs in OceanStor T Series unified storage as follows: 1. The storage system provides two mapping modes: array port mapping type and initiator mapping type. Select a proper mapping mode based on the service requirements and networking. For more details, go to the Setting a Mapping Mode page. 2. If the connection is an iSCSI connection, the mapping can be added through the initiator. For more details, go to the Initiator Mapping Mode (for Fibre Channel Connections and iSCSI connections) page. 3. If the connection is a Fibre Channel connection, the mapping can be added through the initiator or array port. For more details, go to the Initiator Mapping Mode (for Fibre Channel Connections and iSCSI connections) page or the Array port Mapping Mode (for Fibre Channle Connections) page.

One LUN in OceanStor T Series unified storage can be mapped to a maximum of eight hosts or host groups.

You can expand host file systems of OceanStor T Series as follows: 1. Expand the capacity by using the volume management software delivered with the host (LVM and dynamic disk). 2. Expand the capacity by using the third-party volume management software (VxVM).

Obtain the SystemReporter, UltraPath, CloudService, Toolkit, and eSDK versions compatible with the OceanStor V3 series from the version mapping of a specific version.
