Solution when the device height exceeds the installation height in the case of installing the device to the guide rail with bottom support

0

If a device (the height is n x U and the height occupies all installation space) is installed using the bottom support, the device height plus the thickness of the guide rail is larger than the installation space. In this case, the space for installing other devices is insufficient. Under such circumstances, the following two solutions are provided:
1. Replace guide rails with non-standard guide rails, which occupy 1 U bottom space of the cabinet and do not interfere with upper devices. The non-standard guide rails have bottom support and the supporting plane will sink by 2.0 mm.
2. Replace guide rails with those that have side support, which requires less installation space.

What should I do when the device borne by bottom support-type guide rails is higher than the allowed installation range?
You can deal with such a problem using either of the following methods: Use non-standard guide rails. Such guide rails occupy extra 1-U space below the U marking. Use side support-type guide rails. Such guide rails do not occupy extra space.

Types of and installation requirements on the guide rail matching the Ethernet switch
Types of and installation requirements on the guide rail matching the Ethernet switch: The installation accessories of a 1 U Ethernet switch contain guide rails with bottom support. The depth of guide rails can be adjusted and guide rails can be installed on SC611-20 cabinets. If you need to install adjustable guide rails on other cabinets, the following requirements on the cabinet must be met: 1. The cabinet complies with the requirements of the IEC 60297 standard, in which the dimension of mechanical structures is 482.6 mm. The angle opening width of cabinets is 450 mm. 2. The distance between mounting bars at the front and rear of the cabinet ranges from 600 mm to 900 mm. 3. Holes on the installation angle gauge (mounting bar) are either of the following: 1) Square holes (size ?9 mm × 9 mm) 2) Round holes (diameter ?7 mm) 4. Minimum transverse space inside the cabinet: ?475 mm.
