Guidance on expanding the file system following the LUN capacity expansion of the Windows host:
1. After LUN space is added on the storage side, scan for LUNs on the host. Right-click My Computer, choose Storage > Disk management, right-click Disk management, and choose Rescan Disk. You can see that the capacity of the disk has been expanded. Record drive letters of the disk.
2. Run diskpart to use a tool to expand the file system.
Run list volume to obtain the volume corresponding to the disk, and run select volume name to choose the volume.
3. After the expansion, check whether the file system has been expanded.

Method used to expand host file system capacity of OceanStor T Series
You can expand host file systems of OceanStor T Series as follows: 1. Expand the capacity by using the volume management software delivered with the host (LVM and dynamic disk). 2. Expand the capacity by using the third-party volume management software (VxVM).

Method used to configure LUN capacity expansion
You can configure LUN capacity expansion as follows: When storage space provided to the host by the LUN cannot meet service requirements, you need to perform capacity expansion to expand the LUN's capacity. To configure LUN expansion for a mapped LUN, configure LUN expansion on the storage system and application server. Then the expanded LUN can be used. Storage device side: creating LUN expansion on Integrated Storage Manager (ISM) Application server side: performing capacity expansion for the disk mapped to the LUN in CLI mode Note: To create LUN expansion on ISM in the storage systems of the S5000 V100R001 version, ensure that the primary and secondary LUNs are located in the same RAID group. In this case, you can avoid read and write operations across the RAID groups, and deteriorating data read and write performance.

Method used to expand LUN capacity of OceanStor T Series
You can expand LUN capacity of OceanStor T Series as follows: Go to the Expand dialog box. In the ISM navigation tree, choose All Devices > SN_XX > Storage Resources > Block Storage Pools. (SN_XX indicates the target storage storage.) In the right function pane, select the RAID group you want to expand. Click Expand. The Expand dialog box is displayed. Expand a RAID group. In the Available Disks area, select the idle disks that you want to add to the RAID group. Note: To improve disk utilization, you are advised to select an idle disk of which the capacity is the same as that of a member disk in the RAID group. Click the idle disk and add the disk to the Selected Disks group box. Confirm the RAID group expansion. Click OK. The Warning dialog box is displayed. Read and confirm the information in the dialog box. Then select I have read the warning message carefully. Click OK. The Information dialog box is displayed, indicating that the operation is successful. Click OK to return to the Block Storage Pools page and complete RAID group expansion. Result After the RAID group is expanded, you can perform the following operations to check the total capacity of the RAID group after capacity expansion. On the Block Storage Pools page, select the RAID group after capacity expansion. Click the Details tab to view the total capacity of the RAID group after capacity expansion.
