The link-group command is used to create a link group in the SPR and access the link group view. In actual application, link requirements vary with services. To facilitate link deployment and reuse, add the links into a group, and apply services to the link group to implement link selection.
The use of the link group needs to be supported by the smart policy routing parameters, and ACLs that differentiate service flows.

How to configure interface groups on AR routers
If users need to perform the same configuration on multiple Ethernet interfaces, they can add the Ethernet interfaces into an interface group. Users only need to run the configuration command of a function once in an inteface group view to configure the function for all Ethernet interfaces included in the interface group. In this way, interfaces can be configured in batches and repeated configurations are reduced. Interfaces can be added into two types of interface groups: permanent interface groups and temporary interface groups, which have the same function. However, a temporary group is automatically deleted by the system after you quit the view of the temporary interface group. Mechanism of the HA link group on the firewall 1. In hot standby environment, add the upstream and downstream service interfaces to the same link group. When an interface is faulty and becomes down, it triggers the status of all interfaces in the group to be down. This guarantees fast route convergence on the upstream and downstream routers. 2. The link-group function binds the status of several interfaces to form a logical group. If any of the interfaces in the link-group fails, the system changes the status of all other interfaces to Down. After all interfaces in the group recover, the system changes the interfaces to Up. The link-group function guarantees that the upstream and downstream interfaces are in the same status. This prevents inconsistent upstream and downstream link paths after active/standby switchover. You are advised not to add interfaces on interface cards 18FE+2SFP, 16GE+4SFP, 5FSW, and 8FE+2GE to the link-group. Using them first is recommended. 3. After the configuration succeeds, removed interfaces are displayed in the Available group box. d. Click Apply. 4. CLI configuration method: Run the system-view command to access the system view. Run the interface interface-type interface-number command to enter the interface view. Run the link-group link-group-id command to add the interface to the link group. Run the undo link-group command to remove the interface from the link group.

How to configure the MP-Group of E1 interfaces of AR routers

MP indicates the Multi-Link Point-to-Point Protocol (MLPPP), in which multiple PPP links are bound together. MP binding is often performed in scenarios where a 2 Mbit/s E1 dedicated line cannot meet the service requirements.
MP interfaces transmit data by packets. AR routers only support the binding of interfaces of the same card.

The Central Exchange (Centrex), also called group, is part of a telephone exchange or a function of the telephone exchange. The Centrex groups some users on a PBX, and provides various functions of user-specific exchange and other special services for the user group. A user group does not have a dedicated exchange. Internal and external switching is performed in the telephone exchange. The Centrex function applies to organizations or departments with centralized employees, and scenarios in which user extensions are located dispersedly. The Centrex function provides flexible networking, and allows you to easily increase or decrease the capacity. Organizations and departments that use the Centrex function can enjoy specialized services in addition to services on the PSTN. Each user in a Centrex group has two numbers, a private number and a long number. Users in the same Centrex group can dial private numbers to call each other. The priority of private numbers is the highest. Users in a group dial private numbers by default. A user in the Centrex group must dial the call prefix when calling a user outside the Centrex group. Centrex is an important attribute of group users. When configuring or modifying Centrex user attributes, specify the Centrex number. An enterprise has one or more Centrex groups. Each Centrex group belongs to only one enterprise. Users in an enterprise can choose to join a Centrex group or not. Users in an enterprise can call each other, but cannot call users of another enterprise.
