How Can I Reinstall the UDS System?

1.Use PuTTY to log in to the active operation and maintenance service (OMS).
a.Log in as user opadmin using the OMS floating management IP address.
b.run the su - root command to switch to the root account. The default password is Uds6200!.
c.Run the following command to disable PuTTY from timing out.

2Run tabdump hosts | grep -v bmc to obtain the node names of all A-Nodes and UDSNs in the UDS.
3.Clear system data of all A-Nodes except the A-Node where the active OMS resides.
a.Run ssh opadmin@ node name to log in to an A-Node. The default login password is Uds6200!.
b.Run su - root to switch to user root. The default password is Uds6200!.
c.Run uds_disk_format if=/dev/zero of=/dev/sda bs=512 count=40 to clear system data.
d.Run exit to switch back to user opadmin.
e.Run exit again to return to the operating system page of the active OMS.
f.Repeat Step 3.a to Step 3.e to clear system data for each A-Node.
4.Clear the system data of all UDSNs.
a.Run ssh node name to log in to a UDSN. The default password is Admin@storage.
b.Run rm -rf /var/lib/tftpboot/* to clear system data.
c.Run exit to return to the operating system page of the active OMS.
d.Repeat Step 4.a to Step 4.c to clear system data for each UDSN.
5.Clear the system data of all smart disks.
a.Log in to the DeviceManager, view and record the IP addresses of all smart disks in Smart Disk List of each UDSN.
b.Run ssh opadmin@ smart disk IP address to log in to a smart disk. The default password is Uds6200!.
c.Run su - root to switch to user root. The default password is Admin@storage.
d.Run uds_disk_format if=/dev/zero of=/dev/sda bs=512 count=40 to clear system data.
e.Run exit to switch back to user opadmin.
f.Run exit again to return to the operating system page of the active OMS.
g.Repeat Step 5.b to Step 5.f to clear system data for each smart disk.

NOTE:
If no error is returned after the system data clearing command is executed, the system data is cleared successfully. Before proceeding with the next step, make sure that data on all the nodes is deleted successfully.

6.Remove the power cables connected to all nodes except the A-Node where the active OMS is deployed to power off the nodes.
7.Press and hold the power button on the A-Node where the active OMS is deployed to restart the active OMS.
8.Use ISO package to reinstall the active OMS.

9.Follow the software installation wizard instructions to complete the software installation.

After installing the active OMS, reinsert power cables into the nodes and power them on.
