The RH5885 V2 provides the following PCIe slots:
? A 4-socket RH5885 V2 supports a maximum of two graphics processing units (GPUs). The GPUs must be installed in PCIe x16 slots. For details about how to change PCIe x8 slots to PCIe x16 slots, see Setting the PCIe Slot Model in the user guide.
?The SSD card is 1.2 TB or 800 GB. The SSD card (1.2 TB) can be installed in only x16 slots (slots 2 and 7) due to large power consumption. The SSD card (800 GB) can be installed in any x8 or x16 slots (slots 1, 2, 3, 6, 7, and 8).
?PCIe cards of full height and full length

PCIe slot models are as follows:
-Six PCIe x8 and two PCIe x4 slots

An 8-socket RH5885 V2 server is made up of two 4-socket RH5885 V2 servers connected through four QPI cables. One of the 4-socket RH5885 V2 servers serves as the master node and the other as the slave node. Hardware differences: ? Rear I/O module: For the 4-socket server, the rear I/O module can be configured with two hard disks and the QPI cables cannot be connected. For the 8-socket server, the rear I/O module cannot be configured with two hard disks and the QPI cables are required. ? Hard disk quantity: 10 (4-socket server); 16 (8-socket server) ? Therefore, no BIOS information is displayed on iMana. ? Whether an RH5885 V2 8-socket server can be divided into two 4-socket servers
In principle, an RH5885 V2 8-socket server is not allowed to be divided into two 4-socket servers unless the customer requests it. If it is divided and a CPU error occurs on one server, the CPU error will also be reported on the other server. In this case, you need to use the BMC for 4-socket servers instead.
