The hard disks of the RH2288 V3 are used for data storage and are hot-swappable. The server supports the following hard disk configurations:
?  Eight 2.5-inch front SAS HDDs, SATA HDDs, or SSDs

?  Ten 3.5-inch front SATA HDDs

?  Twelve 3.5-inch front SAS/SATA HDDs and two 2.5-inch rear SAS HDDs, SATA HDDs, or SSDs or two 3.5-inch rear SAS/SATA HDDs

?  Twenty-five 2.5-inch front SAS HDDs, SATA HDDs, or SSDs and two or three 2.5-inch rear SAS HDDs, SATA HDDs, or SSDs
