RH2285H V2 hard disk

0

HDDs are hot-swappable and store data for the RH2285H V2. The RH2285H V2 supports the following hard disk configurations:
? 8 hard disks: eight front 2.5-inch SAS/SATA HDDs or SSDs
? 14 hard disks: twelve 3.5-inch SAS/SATA HDDs at the front and two 2.5-inch SSDs or SAS/SATA HDDs at the rear
Note:
A customized 3.5-inch hard disk tray can be used to support twelve 2.5-inch hard disks at the front.
? 26 hard disks: twenty-four 2.5-inch SSDs or SAS/SATA HDDs at the front and two 2.5-inch SSDs or SAS/SATA HDDs at the rear

The RH2285H V2 with eight hard disks supports the following maximum storage capacities:
? SAS HDDs: 9.6 TB
? SATA HDDs: 8 TB
? SSDs: 4.8 TB

Total storage capacity (12 x 3.5-inch hard disks at the front + 2 x 2.5-inch hard disks at the rear):
? SAS HDDs: 16.8 TB
? SATA HDDs: 50 TB

Total storage capacity (24 x 3.5-inch hard disks at the front + 2 x 2.5-inch hard disks at the rear):
? SAS HDDs: 31.2 TB
? SATA HDDs: 26 TB
? SSDs: 14.4 TB
Note:
The maximum storage capacity of the server varies depending on the maximum capacity of a single hard disk.

SAS HDDs, SATA HDDs, and SSDs can be installed in one chassis.

The server supports RAID 0, 1, 10, 5, 50, 6, and 60. It supports iBBU protection, RAID state migration, RAID configuration memory, self-diagnosis, and web-based configuration.
Note:
When you use the upgrade ROM, RAID is not supported.
If upgrade ROM is used, the maximum number of SATA HDDs supported by the RH2285H V2 is increased from 10 to 14.

The mainboard can be configured with a SAS card or SAS RAID controller card (with a maximum of 1 GB cache) to improve hard disk storage performance and ensure user data security.

The RAID controller card does not occupy a standard PCIe slot, which improves system scalability.

Server black box
The black box consists of a built-in memory chip and fault monitoring software. The memory chip, independent from the server hard disks, stores fault information. The fault monitoring software records the kernel information when the server OS breaks down. For detailed information about the black box, see the iMana User Guide for your server model.

RH2288H V2 health indicator
V2 rack server health indicator status description: ? Steady green: The server is operating properly. ? Blinking red at 2 Hz: A major alarm is generated. ? Blinking red at 4 Hz: A critical alarm is generated.

Whether the USG6650 hard disk has a hard disk card
The USG6650 supports two types of hard disks, namely, SM-HDD-SAS300G-A and SM-HDD-SAS300G-B. Model A uses the tray of the device, and model B has its own tray.
