Differences among RH1288A V2, RH1288 V2, and RH1288 V3
The differences among the RH1288A V2, RH1288 V2, and RH1288 V3 are listed as follows. The servers' specifications are subject to the official website. ? The RH1288A V2 adopts the Huawei Hi1710 management chip (iBMC), and supports Intel? Xeon? E5-2600 v2 series processors, eight DIMM slots, and two LOM GE electrical ports. ? The RH1288 V2 adopts the management software iMana, and supports Intel? Xeon? E5-2600 and E5-2600 v2 series processors, 24 DIMM slots, and GE or 10GE LOM NIC modules. ? RH1288 V3 adopts the Huawei Hi1710 management chip (iBMC), and supports Intel? Xeon? E5-2600 v3 series processors, 16 DIMM slots, and GE or 10GE LOM NIC modules.

Bonding of the server NIC
For details about the NIC bonding operations, see "NIC Bonding" in Service Maintenance Manual.

What is the function of the NIC in the RH1288 V3
The RH1288 V3 supports one GE NIC with two or four GE ports, or supports one 10GE NIC with two 10GE electrical or optical ports or with two GE electrical ports and two 10GE optical ports. Both NICs support the Network Controller Sideband Interface (NC-SI). The RH1288 V3 supports a 56GE NIC with two 56GE IB optical ports. The NIC does not support NC-SI.

Querying the server RAID controller card model
Log in to iMana and query the board ID. Then, find the RAID controller model based on the board ID at http: //support.huawei.com/ecommunity/bbs/10239808.html

Whether 10GE NICs support a GE rate
The 10GE NIC can support a GE rate but to do so, you need to replace the 10GE optical modules with GE optical modules.
