CX910 introduction

35

The CX910 includes a physical switching plane: 10GE switching plane.

10GE switching plane:
? Provides 32 x 10GE downlink ports (each half-width slot: 2 x 10GE) and 16 x 10GE uplink ports.
? Provides two internal 40GE ports for interconnecting two 10GE switch modules.

The CX910 of the C00 version does not support stacking and L3 switching, but the CX910 of the C10 version supports these functions.

The two CX910s in a pair of slots can operate independently, in 1+1 redundancy mode, or in load sharing mode by working with the OS and NICs.
