Meaning of the CX31x converged switching
Converged switching (which is not strictly defined) indicates the switching that adopts DCB Ethernet switches that support FCoE traffic and E9000 CX310, CX311, and CX312 converged switch modules. Converged networking (which is not strictly defined) indicates the Ethernet networking in the server field that bears the traditional Ethernet data traffic and FCoE traffic. This Ethernet networking must be based on the DCB feature.

Why cannot the backup information of a static route or a BGP route be generated after IP FRR is configured
IP FRR does not automatically take effect for iterated routes. Instead, an iterated route inherits the backup outbound interface and backup next hop of the route to the next hop that are generated through IP FRR. If the static route or BGP route is an iterated route and the IP FRR backup information of the next hop route is not generated, the backup information cannot be generated although the static route or BGP route matches the IP FRR policy.

Default user name and password of the CX31x
The default user name and password of the BMC and converged switching plane of the CX31x are as follows: Default user name: root Default password: Huawei12#$ The default user name and password of the FCoE gateway (available only for the CX311) are as follows: Default user name: admin Default password: Huawei12#$

Configuring static routes
Configure static routes on an AC when one of the following conditions is met: - The AC is connected in bypass mode and needs to communicate with devices on different network - segments and APs. - The AC functions as a gateway for Internet access. - The AC functions a Layer 3 device on the intranet and needs to communicate with other Layer 3 devices. Configure static routes as follows: [HUAWEI] ip route-static 0.0.0.0 0.0.0.0 172.16.0.1 //Configure a default route. [HUAWEI] ip route-static 192.168.0.0 255.255.0.0 172.16.0.1 //Configure a specific route.
