CH222 CPUs

1

The CH222 supports one or two Intel? Xeon? E5-2600/E5-2600 v2 (Sandy Bridge-EP or Ivy Bridge-EP) full-series CPUs with up to 12 cores at 70 W, 80 W, 95 W, 115 W, 130 W or 135 W.

Each CPU integrates memory controllers and supports four DDR3 memory channels. Each channel supports three DDR3 DIMMs of 1333, 1600, or 1866 MHz.
Each CPU integrates a PCIe controller for supporting PCIe 3.0 and providing 40 lanes.
The two CPUs are interconnected through two QuickPath buses at 8.0 GT/s.
Maximum clock frequency: 3.5 GHz

Powering off an E9000
Power off an E9000 as follows: 1. Power off the blades or switch modules in an E9000 chassis using the MM910 Web interface. For details, see http://support.huawei.com/ehedex/pages/DOC1000053358YEF0907R/08/DOC1000053358YEF0907R/08/resources/en/osca/smma_help_r2/it_osca_smma_900020.html. 2. Disconnect the E9000 power cable from the mains supply.

CPU overclocking
CPU overclocking allows the CPU to run at higher clock rates than the nominal rate. This will affect the server stability. Huawei servers do not support the setting of CPU overclocking. However, the BIOS setup interface provides the Turbo mode for CPUs. You can enable the Turbo mode (auto, intelligent speed adjustment) to speed up the CPU. For details, search for the keyword "Turbo mode" in http://support.huawei.com/ehedex/hdx.do?docid=DOC1000010818&lang=en&idPath=7919749|9856522|21782478|21782482|9768163&clientWidth=1520&browseTime=1494381933313.

CPU models requirements
A server must use the same model of CPUs. Otherwise, the server cannot run normally.
