Introduction to the CH140

The CH140 is a half-width 4-socket (2 x 2) compute node based on Intel? new-generation Romley-EP platform. A compute node houses two half-width 2-socket child compute nodes, providing super high computing density and powerful computing capability.
CH140 compute nodes are installed in an E9000 chassis and centrally managed by the MM910 management module (MM).
The CH140 provides double the compute density of a common half-width 2-socket compute node. Up to 32 child compute nodes can be installed in an E9000. The CH140 is suitable for cluster deployment in virtualization, cloud computing, database, high-performance computing (HPC), and enterprise high-end services.
