BH620 CPUs

1

The server blade BH620 supports Intel Xeon? new-generation high-performance CPUs. A BH620 is equipped with one or two Intel Xeon 5500 or 5600 series CPUs of 95 W or lower. Two QuickPath links interconnect CPUs and interconnect other components. Each link provides a maximum transmission rate of 6.4 GT/s.
For Intel Xeon 5500 series CPUs, the maximum frequency is 2.93 GHz, and the maximum L3 cache is 8 MB.
For Intel Xeon 5600 series CPUs, the maximum frequency is 2.93 GHz, and the maximum L3 cache is 12 MB.

For details about the CPUs supported by the BH620, see the compatibility checker: http://support.huawei.com/onlinetoolsweb/ftca/en

CPU overclocking
CPU overclocking allows the CPU to run at higher clock rates than the nominal rate. This will affect the server stability. Huawei servers do not support the setting of CPU overclocking. However, the BIOS setup interface provides the Turbo mode for CPUs. You can enable the Turbo mode (auto, intelligent speed adjustment) to speed up the CPU. For details, search for the keyword "Turbo mode" in http://support.huawei.com/ehedex/hdx.do?docid=DOC1000010818&lang=en&idPath=7919749|9856522|21782478|21782482|9768163&clientWidth=1520&browseTime=1494381933313.

CPU models requirements
A server must use the same model of CPUs. Otherwise, the server cannot run normally.

How to configure the CPU Usage Alarm Threshold?
Using the set cpu-usage threshold command, you can set the CPU usage alarm threshold and CPU usage alarm recovery threshold. Using the undo set cpu-usage threshold command, you can restores the default CPU usage alarm threshold and CPU usage alarm recovery threshold. By default, the CPU usage alarm threshold is 80% and the CPU usage alarm recovery threshold is 75%. ?When the CPU usage alarm threshold is lower than 60%, the default CPU usage alarm recovery threshold is 1% lower than the CPU usage alarm threshold. ?When the CPU usage alarm threshold is higher than or equal to 60%, the default CPU usage alarm recovery threshold is 5% lower than the CPU usage alarm threshold.
