This may be because a single thread can't stimulate storage performance, and you can do more replication tasks so that storage performance can be brought into play.

If the speed is not satisfactory, use the IOmeter for detailed detection.

Also, what is the disk type you are using? are your cables right for the operation? is it iscsi or fc? does it perform better on linux hosts? Have you tested on linux hosts? provide some details please.
