Hi,

You can clear a console interface login password through the Bootload Menu.

If a password reset is required in the scenario where the console interface login password is lost or in other scenarios, maintenance personnel can connect the PC to the device's console interface in serial mode. When the device is powered on and started, enter the Bootload Menu and clear the console interface login password. After the password is cleared and the device is restarted, the system prompts maintenance personnel to configure a new password and automatically saves the new password.

Clearing the console interface login password applies when a single control board is deployed. If two control boards are deployed, it is recommended that you remove the slave control board first. When two control boards are deployed and the password is changed, the master control board is in the starting phase for a period of time. After the period of time, the slave control board becomes the master control board according to the master/slave competition mechanism, and uses the original configuration file. As a result, the password fails to be changed.

Procedure

1. Access the Bootload Menu through the authentication password.

When the device is powered on and started and Press [Ctrl+B] to enter BIOS menu is displayed on the serial interface, press Ctrl+B. Enter the correct authentication password to access the Bootload Menu.

The default initial authentication user name and password are szhw and Changeme_123, respectively.

Enter C (Clear console password) to clear the console interface login password.

2. After
the password is cleared and the device is restarted, the system prompts
maintenance personnel to configure a new password and automatically
saves the new password.

Maintenance personnel can also perform other operations as required.

  • Enter 4 (Modify boot ROM password) to change the BootROM authentication password.

  • Enter 7 (Boot From Flash) to load boot and OS files from the Flash memory, booting the kernel.

  • Enter 8 (Enter Board Repair Menu) to query the BIOS version.

  • Enter 9 (Reboot System) to reset the control board.

  • Enter A (Change Serial Port Baudrate) to change the baud rate of the serial interface.

  • Enter L (Load/Update files) to access the lower-level function option for downloading/updating BIOS files. Enter 3 (Download uefi bios to flash)
to update the BIOS file in the primary partition. The Xmode must be
used. To increase the file transmission rate, it is recommended that the
baud rate of the serial interface be changed to 115,200 bits/s.

Sorry, I wasn't able to see your image until now. The bootloader version is too old. The only option to recover the password is to reset device completely. If you proceed with this option you'll need to have a backup of the configuration as it will be deleted too.

ATN910 has a RST button to reset device. This RST button can only be used to delete passwords and configuration files on device. Once the RST button is pressed, the device start to reset.

Then, keep pressed between 25 and 35 seconds until the PWR, STA and ALM indicators blink green color, release the RST button so the device can start to delete automatically the passwords and configurations files. If the RST button keep pressed (aproximately 10s) until the 3 indicators stop blink simultaneosly, the device will only reset without delete passwords and configuration files.

Hope it helps!

Hi,
You can try to upgrade the system using bootload and reset the console password.
Another way, download the configuration file through bootload, delete the console password from the file, and upload the file again.
