Connection Refused when try to access B311-221 ssh service

I'm getting "Connection Refused" when trying to access ssh service of B311-221 Huawei Router either using Putty from windows or Terminal from Linux...


I tried to check for open ports on the router or if I can check the ssh is enabled, but I couldn't find any means to check from Router webpage.


Could you please help me identify the issue's cause and resolve it?


I'd also appreciate if you could provide a technical user manual for the router.

It seems that port 22 or ssh service is disabled by default and I can't find a way to enable either from router's webpage.

Hello, 


Use a network cable to connect the B311-221 to the PC.

Log in to the device WebUI based on the information( 192.168.8.1) on the device nameplate.

The device does not have a password by default. You can log in to the device using the user name and password admin.

You can view the network status and device information on the web interface of the device.

The device version may be a non-universal version. You need to contact your local device provider or local ISP to obtain the account and password.

Thanks Wissal, but I don't have a problem with connecting and logging to my router...
My issue is with enabling ssh service on port 22 locally on router!
