Connecting USB drive to network

I have added a usb drive to my RPi by plugging directly into the RPi but really want to add another USB HDD connected directly to the HG659. This is so I can share it with other devices.

I have tried your IP address and it did not work. The mount point is something related to Linux and is needed to enable the mounting of the drive in Picoreplayer.

I enabled ftp and checked the file path for the USB and it is
ftp://mediarouter.home/Western_Digital-10583432_usb1_1/My Music/

Firstly your schematic is correct. The problem is that I cannot get the RPi to access USB2. I can access USB1 & 2 using windows. From what you have said It does not seem I can directly access USB2 using the Rpi. unless I upgrade my HG659. Is this correct. Do you know of any model of Huawei routers that will allow me to solve my problem?

We only guarantee that Windows can access the USB port of the ONT. We cannot guarantee that the RPi can access the USB port of the ONT.

EOS refers to the end of providing services for a product.
Maybe it's not the model, maybe the two devices are not compatible.
