Connecting tablet to HDMI

Hello, I have a Huawei MediaPad M5 lite. I also bought the USB hub D-Link DUB-M810.

With this USB hub I can charge the tablet, access the LAN (wired) network and read USB sticks at the same time.The USB hub also has an HDMI output, but it does not work. I really need an HDMI output for lectures for the students.

I have read a lot of information on the internet and some claim that HDMI is not supported on this tablet because the output is USB 2.0.

However, there are products on the internet that advertise a USB 2.0-to-HDMI transfer (see this https://www.amazon.com/Manhattan-Adapter-Easily-Converts-151061/dp/B006VYWIVI for example) and also products that advertise a MediaPad M5 lite-to-HDMI transfer (see this http://www.martcanada.com/huawei-mediapad-m5-lite-usb-type-c-to-hdmi-vga-4k-tv-converter-adapter.html for example).

I'd like to get an authorised answer, possibly from Huawei engineers, as to whether using HDMI with the MediaPad M5 lite is possible and how.

I have also seen a convertor here https://www.usourceuk.com/huawei-mediapad-m5-lite-hdmi-converter-adapter.html not sure whether i will work or not.

I have tried http://consumer.huawei.com/en/. It keeps me redirecting to local help. Those locals are clueless when more complex questions are asked. I would need to contact someone at Huawei headquarters. Could you please give me instructions how to get the help directly from Huawei, not from local offices?
