Hello,

I am trying to connect a power meter Socomec Countis E34 to my smartlogger 1000A.

By default we found the Countis E43 in the drop-down list of the intelligent power meter, and not the E34.

After a quick look, all the parameters seems the same (Baud rate, parity, stop Bit and registry addresses).

When I choose in the drop-down list Countis E43 and connect the E34, I have no values.

I am trying by choosing Other and configure manually all parameters, but was the same, no values (following the procedure of the manual SmartLogger 1000A, User Manual, Issue 02 (2019-01-15) chapter 6.3.8.2 Setting Modbus-RTU Meter Parameters).

Did you know if it's possible to connect the E34 to the SmartLogger.

What is the best way to do that ?

Thanks,

Olivier

Hello, Eoxs
Thanks for your feedback. You connected the smart meter according to the user manual and nothing is displayed.
You can check whether the hardware connection is correct and whether the interface is loose, then according to the user manual, manually enter all the parameters that need to be set. If there is still no value displayed, you need to check for hardware failure
Thanks

Hello,
Now it works.
Problem come from a bad stop Bit configuration.
I have changed 1 to 2 and it works with the pre-configuartion listed for the Socomec Countis E43.
Not need to define and use Other in the type of Power Meter type.
Pre-configuration is working for type E43 and E34
Thanks,
Olivier
