HiCoins as reward: 0 (problem unresolved)

Hi all,

I want to register my isp provided ont so that I can have customer privilege account. From the product registration page, for onts it is said, that the product id is the sn of the ont. the product id is in the same format as in is this image in my ont.

Example ONT SN

So, the confusion I have here is that should I enter the product id as it is in my ont, or without space.

In Short, the following cases are confusing me,
1) Enter in same format as in the image above
2) Enter without space.
3) Something else :)

Thanks!!

EDIT 1

I think I have mislead everyone.

Check out this link : https://support.huawei.com/enterprise/en/doc/EDOC1100194958

It explains how to find the SN of an ONT device.

Also, I had already atached an example picture above.

From this, I'm confused about which part to enter as the SN from the prod ID in my ONT device. It's in the same format as in the sample image above.

Hello, friend!

I still don't know what your problem is based on your description of the problem.

If you are confused about the SN on the ONT nameplate, you can log in to the ONT WebUI to view the device information and SN, or register the ONT with the OLT on the ONT WebUI.

Click the Status tab. In the navigation tree on the left, choose Device Information. In the right pane, view the product name, hardware version, and software version.

For details about how to log in to the ONT WebUI, click:

Thanks!

No, I want to know in what format should I enter the product id in the sn fieled for verification.
The prod id is in this format
XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX Y XXXXXXXXXX
So, should I enter in the same format or wihtout spaces?

Hello, friend!
Did you execute any command line?
In the command line format, spaces are required between different parameters.

Hello, friend!
I understand your problem is that you need to register the RPOD ID. However, the RPOD ID value on the nameplate contains spaces, but no spaces are allowed in the input format.
As shown in the preceding figure, the RPOD ID of the device is the parameter before Y. You only need to enter the parameter before Y.
In addition, the device SN is not directly related to the RPOD ID.
Thank you!

Hi,
Yes, that was my problem. Yesterday I entered the whole PROD ID, but then the error came which stated "Data cannot contain spaces as well as it should not be greater than 20 characters.". So, then I entered the part before "Y". It's been almost 18 hours, and I'm waiting anxiously for it to be verified.

If you don't mind, what does contacting my local ISP have to do with me trying to register the ONT?

Hello, friend!
The device eventually connects to the ISP network in your area. Therefore, the device needs to register with the upper-layer device (OLT) on the local ISP network.
