Configuring the WAN connection from OLT on MA5608T & HS8546V

Hi, everyone!


This post enquires about configuring the WAN connection from OLT on MA5608T & HS8546V. Please see more information displayed below.

Huawei MA5608T


ISSUE DESCRIPTION


I have a setup with a MA5608T MA5600V800R015C00 and English version HS8546V ONTs without any WAN configuration on them.

OLT details:


  0       H805GPFD   Normal
  1       H805GPFD   Normal
  2       H801MCUD1  Standby_normal  CPCB
  3       H801MCUD1  Active_normal   CPCB
  4       H801MPWD   Normal

I have everything set up and running, all VLANs DHCP etc.. 


Only thing is instead of configuring ONTs from web, I would like to set up one ore more wan connections from OLT. As I understand,  the ont wan configuration command is not supported via CLI by the current control board.


POSSIBLE SOLUTION 


I have tried ONT Load, but, as I understand, it needs a image file to work and it's intended for updating, not configuring.

I have tried home-gateway profile, by exporting the desired configuration from the ONT, uploading it to OLT, but got the error file too large (when setting up home-gateway profile with the exported xml).


Is this ONT/OLT combination capable of configuring WAN connections from OLT?  If so, where would I get the desired image or configuration file for home-gateway?

Thank you for responding,

sadly I cannot open the links provided, as I do not have sufficient privileges, I tried to enhance but , It will not accept product name for ONT and I cannot get serial of olt.

as for version:
