Configuring the Device IP Address Using the Serial Port on U1900

The topic describes how to configure the device IP address using the serial port on the U19.

1. Log in to a U1900 series unified gateway using the CLI and access the Config mode.

2. Run the following command to configure the device IP address:
   

   config system ip mode static address 192.168.1.20/24 gateway 192.168.1.1
   

3. When the IP address is changed, the device automatically restarts. After the device is restarted, log in to the device using its new IP address.
