When a Huawei checkpoint camera is connected to the MPU, the MPU can automatically identify the checkpoint camera type. When a checkpoint camera from another vendor is connected to the MPU, the camera type (for example, vehicle checkpoint camera) needs to be configured. If the camera type has been configured when cameras are added in batches, this procedure can be skipped. After a checkpoint camera is added individually, the camera type needs to be configured. Otherwise, images captured by checkpoint cameras cannot be uploaded to the MPU for storage.
1.In the Users and Devices panel on the left of the Workspace tab page, double-click Devices
2.Click the Local Domain tab.
3.Double-click the newly-added checkpoint camera in the device list.
4.Configure the checkpoint camera type
5.Click OK.
