Configuring NAT via NetEco or NE

The customer can ping a 4G router from a NetEco sever via PuTTY. And can also ping the Firewall IP from PowerCube 500 via PuTTY. But can’t successful add PowerCube 500 on NetEco.

When the Network Address Translation (NAT) is required between the NetEco client and the server or device controller and the NetEco server, you must modify the related configuration file to ensure that you can use the server IP address or host name to log in to the server from the client or controller.

Procedure

1. Stop the NetEco service.

2. Log in to the NetEco server as user ossuser using PuTTy in SSH mode.

3. Run the following command to configure the NAT on NetEco:

$ cd /opt/neteco/server/bin

$ ./ConfigNATTool.sh

    1)Configure NAT;

    2)Delete NAT Configure;

    3)exit.

4. Type 1 and press Enter.

5. Type the IP address of the NetEco server and press Enter.

Please input IP address [Q:quit]: 1.1.1.1

Configure NAT success.

If the system displays information similar to the preceding, the NAT has been configured successfully. Otherwise, contact Huawei's technical support engineers.

6. Start the NetEco service.
