Configuring Honor Router 3 for local network

Hello,


I have purchased two Huawei Honor Router 3 to expand the WiFi connectivity locally. I want to place one of them in the same floor as the Internet Company router, both connected through LAN. The second Huawei router will be placed in the second floor, connected through WiFi to the Honor placed in the first floor.


The idea is having the same wifi network all over the place, where there will be three routers: the Internet company router, one Honor connected through LAN, and another Honor connected through WiFi to the other Honot to replicate the signal.


I have been trying to do so, but I am facing some issues:

- if I connect the Honor router to the Internet Company router with cable, I am not able to replicate the signal with the same SSID (it says I have to disconnect the cable). I need to have the cable connected because there is a huge loss if i do it just by wifi.

- if I disconnect the cable, I am able to replicate the signal but I lose the control of the router. the AI Life App says: "You must use the web version of the application to control the router".


I think that I am not asking much for a router of this quality from this company. Which is the proper approach to achieve this?
