After you configure Dual Tone Multiple Frequency (DTMF) conference control, you can perform conference control operations from the remote control of your endpoint.
Introduction
- The left and right arrow keys are used to switch between participant videos in continuous presence pans.
- The up and down arrow keys are used to switch between the continuous presence modes for the local participant.
- If FECC is not supported, the arrow keys are used to control the camera by default.
- If FECC is supported, you can press Zoom and control the remote camera. If you do not perform any operations within 5 seconds, the functions of the arrow keys are switched to DTMF conference control.
- Number keys 4 and 6 are used to switch between participant videos in continuous presence pans.
- Number keys 2 and 8 are used to switch between continuous presence modes for the local participant.
Procedure
- Configure FECC.
- Log in to the MCU using the CLI.
The default values of Login and Password are admin and Change_Me, respectively.
- At the <HUAWEI VP9650> prompt, enter system-view and press Enter.
- At the [HUAWEI VP9650] prompt, enter conf-policy and press Enter.
- At the [HUAWEI VP9650-Conf-Policy] prompt, enter conf-ctrl-by-FECC 1 and press Enter.
Returned message: Info:set enable FECC confctrl success!
- At the [HUAWEI VP9650-Conf-Policy] prompt, enter quit and press Enter.
- At the [HUAWEI VP9650] prompt, enter quit and press Enter.
- At the <HUAWEI VP9650> prompt, enter save and press Enter.
After are you sure to save config?(y/n), enter y and press Enter.
- Log in to the MCU using the CLI.
- Configure number key DTMF conference control.
By default, the MCU supports DTMF conference control using number keys, and no additional configuration is required.
