Configuring Decoder 6108L and connecting to huawei NVR Highlighted

Hello, dear!

This topic will tell you how to configure Decoder 6108L and connect to Huawei NVR step by step.

In order to configure the Decoder 6108L 

First, you need to install the  ConfigTool.zip 

1. Extract the ConfigTool.zip and run MatrixConfig.exe, After running you will find the interface below 

   
   

   (Default User Name: admin  Password: 12345)
   

2. After login, on the Workbench click on IP table (to change the default IP address to the subnet)
   

   
   

   

3. Each board in the Dec6108L can have an IP address after changing the IP the decoder will restart 
   

   

4. After login, on the Workbench click on Host.
   

   
   

5. Click Add and configure host information.
   

   [Host ID]: user-defined

   [Host type]: HUAWEI-IVS

   [IP address]: service IP address of the VCN3020

   [Port]: 9900 by default

   [User]: new or existing multi-point login account on the VCN3020

   [Password]: indicates the password of the user.

   
   

   1. Click Save.

   2. Synchronize the camera.

   3. Return to Workbench and click Camera.

      
      

      

6. Click Transfer, select the host created in the previous step, and click Obtain Directory. If cameras are mounted to the VCN3020, the list is displayed.

   
   

   

7. After obtaining the directory, click Save

   

8. Click video wall to refresh the list and check whether the transfer camera can be displayed on the video wall.
