Configuring DAD in direct mode

Hello everyone,

I want to configure DAD between CE using direct mode.

I’m reading this document:

Can I use direct mode on random interfaces 25GE1/0/12 through 25GE3/0/24 with 1G SFP? Or are there some limitations on ports or SFPs?

Hi Planck,
I confirmed with R&D and the direct mode can be deployed on any interface that is not used but only one thing, you have to keep the interface UP. If the interface goes down or is flapping, DAD doesn’t work.
