Configure logical boards

Hello friend！

Before you start the configuration, you need to ensure that:

• The NE user has higher operation rights.

• All boards are correctly installed.

• The ODU power switch on the IDU 905 2E is turned on. The ODU communicates with the IDU properly.

The detailed configuration method is as follows:

• Based on the slot layout, the NE automatically configures the logical boards that are required but are not yet configured for certain physical boards.

• On the slot to which the board is to be added, right-click and select Add XXX. "XXX" is the name of the board to be added.

• On the slot to which the board is to be deleted, right-click and select Delete.

NOTE

• If a logic board is not displayed, verify that the corresponding physical board is correctly installed.

• Before deleting the board, delete the data, such as the service, clock, and protection, on the board.

• Add a dual-channel ODU in the same way as adding a single-channel ODU while clicking Add MODU. A dual-channel ODU has two ports and power can only be supplied through channel 1.

a. Click OK in the displayed confirmation dialog box.

b. A dialog box is displayed again for confirmation. Click OK.
