Hello,
GIS for Efficient Vehicle Dispatch and Management
Different vehicles scattered around the airfield are always moving. Tracking and managing airport vehicles is critical to improve
utilization and decrease accidents. Huawei uses GIS vehicle tracking and dispatch. Vehicles report their locations at continuous
intervals, which are displayed in GIS. With GIS, a dispatcher can identify the nearest available vehicles for timely dispatch.
The airfield is divided into different areas with various security levels. Some vehicles have permission to enter only specific areas. If
a vehicle goes to a restricted area or drives too fast, a sound and lighted alarm will alert the driver and dispatcher at the same time,
thereby improving vehicle management efficiency and airport safety at the same time.
Quick Response
In disasters such as earthquakes, floods, or traffic accidents, quick response is imperative to save lives. eLTE provides a series of
solutions to help responders accelerate the rescue process. eLTE rapidly provides trunking, voice, data, and Geographic Information
System (GIS) services during emergencies; in fact, two people can finish the entire system deployment in only five minutes. Also, eLTE
can be easily installed on vehicles when needed. The ruggedly designed terminals can perform in any harsh environment.
Unified Dispatching
With eLTE, clients can utilize voice trunking, video, data, and GIS on one eLTE network. The most attractive feature of this solution is
its unique visualized dispatching capability (voice trunking with real-time video transmission), which enables frontline personnel to
communicate with the command center and other groups through simultaneous voice and video. Moreover, eLTE is carefully designed
for inter-communication with existing emergency response systems, such as PLMN/PSTN/Tetra and Telepresence systems, helping
promote public sector emergency response efficiency and collaboration.
