1.To configure WBR-204g wireless router, it is necessary to know the governance IP of the router. Huawei WBR-204g wireless router, management IP 192.168.1.1, user name and password are admin.
After connecting the router with the network cable of the computer, the IP address of the computer must be in the same network segment as the IP address of the router, that is, the IP address of the computer must be in the range of 192.168.2-192.168.1.254.
2.After entering the router setup interface, click on the network and connection name with INTERNET in turn
One is to record the parameters or simply screen capture (especially LAN ID parameters and multicast VLAN ID parameters)> then delete the items with INTERNET, and create a new item > parameter to set the following connection type to select the route; the list of services select INTERNET; fill in the newly recorded VLAN ID and multicast VLAN ID (different from each region, you must fill in the IP you just wrote down); Change the mode to PPPoE; enable NAT to hook; fill in the user name and password of the Internet; dial-up mode automatically as shown in the following figure for the changed settings.
3.The advanced setting options of WBR-204g wireless router are the same as those of other brand routers, including WAN setting, LAN setting and wireless setting. Each sub-menu is described in detail below.
WAN port settings options: WAN port settings are mainly to configure the way users access the Internet. Users can fill in their own network access mode and related information. Taking PPPoE virtual dialing as an example, this paper introduces how to configure WAN port for users.
Click "WAN Port Connection Type" and a drop-down menu will appear. Select PPPoE, and then fill in your account number and password. Just click Save. Host name and PPPOE service name need not be filled in.
