Dear Support Team


I have an EchoLife HG8245C GPON Terminal and after making the time settings, if I reset the modem or the power is off, the time zone settings will return to the default and I will have to change the time zone again until my phone clock to display correctly. What is the solution to this problem?

According to your problem description, the prerequisites for restoring the default settings of the HG8245C are as follows:

1. Restore the device to its factory settings.

2. The device is powered off.


The device is restored to factory settings in the preceding cases. If you need to avoid repeatedly setting the time zone, avoid the following two situations:

1. Do not restore the device to factory settings without permission.

2. Use the power adapter matching the device.

My question is, what should I do my device's time zone settings do not return to the factory defaults when I reset the modem (either via the Reboot menu or by turning the device on and off)?
