Q1. Where is the iDATA Agent installation file?

Actually, There is a identical installation file for Simpana, the package included all the components need in different servers. That is to say, you need to download only one installation file. You need to select CommServe component if the current server’s role is CommServe, and need to select SQL iDATA Agent if the current server’s role is SQL server client.
By the way , if the Agent is Linux/UNIX, you need to download Linux/UNIX version of the Simpana installation file.
It’s highly recommended to download both Windows , Linux Version installation files for convenience.
Q2. How can I set the retention for Backup?
A:
You can set retention rule in Storage policy, Here is a example. Set 92 days, 12 cycles for the data will be retained for at least 92 days, 12 cycles of full backup.
When the time, and also cycles exceeded, the backup data will be aged and delete by Simpana.
Q3. How can I configure archive rule if I want to use S2200T for backup and VTL 6900 for archive?

For simpana, the archive is also a backup, If you used S2200T for backup and VTL 6900 for archive, you need to configure auxiliary copy while the primary copy exists in storage policy. Here is a eg. :
Setup General tab, Retention tab for your archive requirements:
When you need to set schedule policy, Run Auxiliary copy , and set the scheduler.
Q4. How can I see the auxiliary schedule?

Right click the related storage policies, select "View -> Schedules":

You need to install Outlook (can install from Microsoft Office) on the Exchange Server. Node that : 64bit Exchange need 64bit Outlook installation ,32 bit Exchange server need 32bit outlook installation.
Q6: How to delete a client?
A:
First, you are recommended to delete all the backup setup , storage policies on the client you want to delete.
Then, Right click the client, "All Tasks -> Release License for Client"
Finally, select "All tasks ->Delete "
