Hi

I have S7706 need to upgrade to the latest version which is v2r19c10. it works as AC for the AP... does it support AP model 4050DN
because on the upgrade guide details the disp AP-type all does not have ap4050dn only 4050dn-e and HD
Is there is any way to confirm this before upgrade?

In V200R019C100, AP4050DN works as Fit AP. S7706 with X series board support AP4050DN.

The v200r019c10 version has no support ap4050dn. v200r019c10 support AirEngine 5760-22W, AirEngine 5760-22WD, AirEngine 5760-51, AirEngine 6760R-51, AirEngine 6760R-51E, AirEngine 6760-X1, AirEngine 6760-X1E, AirEngine 8760R-X1, AirEngine 8760R-X1E, AirEngine 8760-X1-PRO, AirEngine 9700D-M. https://support.huawei.com/hedex/hdx.do?docid=EDOC1100126539&id=EN-US_CONCEPT_0177091645&lang=en

Thank you for your reply. But I know that no v2r19c10 for ap4050dn... I need to know if I have S7706 ver v2r19c10 acting as AC will this switch support Ap4050dn to go online and work

Do I miss understand the compatability of. AC and AP concept?
Is it When AC supports specific version of AP so it will support all models that support this version.
Ex: AC support version x of ap and an AP model support this version x this lead to ap will work with this ac
Is it based on version matching only or both version and model
Is there is a chance when ac support specific version of AP that does not mean it support all AP models of this version
It is confusing and not clear.

Based on this we can decide that S7706 v2r19c10 will support Ap4050dn v2r8c00 or not..
