Hello.

Where can I find a comparison between these two router's family?

The main technical specs. Because for a big company, (not exactly a carrier) if I want to recommend a router, how can decide which one pick up?

Than you for your support.

AR Router: this route series routers designed for the SD-WAN era. These modular-chassis routers integrate routing, switching, 3G service, LTE service, voice, and security functions. These routers support wired and wireless access modes, including E1/T1, xDSL, xPON, CPOS, and 3G.
Such as: AR2204-27GE,AR2204-27GE-P,AR2204-51GE-P,AR2204E,AR2204XE,AR2220E,AR2240C,AR2240

NE40 Router: this router series can serve as core nodes on enterprise WANs, access nodes on large-scale enterprise networks, interconnection and aggregation nodes on campus networks, and edge nodes on large-scale Internet Data Center (IDC) networks.

Such As: NetEngine40E-X16A, NetEngine40E-X16, NetEngine40E-X8A, NetEngine40E-X8, NetEngine40E-X3A,NetEngine40E-X2M8, NetEngine40E-X2M8A

AR Router: Integration of wireless and wired functions
NE40 Router: Integration of wired functions

AR Router: AR Router supports optional interface cards, including Ethernet, E1/T1/PRI/VE1, synchronous/asynchronous, ADSL2+/G.SHDSL, FXS/FXO, ISDN, CPOS, EPON/GPON, 3G, LTE, and E&M interface cards. Basic voice functions are provided by the built-in PBX, SIP server, and SIP access gateway
Value-added voice services include multi-party communication, IVR automatic connection, ring-back-tone, parallel ringing, sequential ringing.

NE Router: The NE40E can be flexibly deployed at the edge or core of IP/MPLS networks to simplify the network structure and provide an extensive range of services and reliable service quality. The NE40E increases the broadband capacities of IP/MPLS bearer networks and makes them more secure, intelligent, and serviceoriented.

AR Router: While delivering enterprise-class network services, the AR routers provide robust network security. Comprehensive security solutions include user access control, packet detection, and active attack defense.

NE Router: Various value-added services, such as Generic Routing Encapsulation (GRE) tunnel, IP security(IPsec) tunnel, and NetStream could be configured.

AR Router: The AR routers use a multi-core CPU and non-blocking switching structure to provide industry-leading system performance.

NE40 Router: The NE40E uses NP chips and distributed hardware-based forwarding and non-blocking switching technologies of the CLOS distributed switching architecture.

AR Router: Low cost, high reliability with Intelligent service deployment

NE40 Router: User-specific management and control. User management, service control, and security control are integrated, contributing to a significant reduction in OPEX.

Hello,

AR SERIES ACCESS ROUTERS

AR Series Access Routers

You want higher SD-WAN forwarding performance? You choose NetEngine AR6000 series routers. You need an all-in-one suite incorporating cloud management, routing, switching, VPN, security, voice, and MPLS? You go with NetEngine AR6000 series routers.

It's easy. NetEngine AR6000 series routers are the solution for improved AV quality. Comprising the state of the art Solar AX Architecture, not only do they transfer files is a hastier manner, but also allows for much simpler O&M. True routing beasts and proud members of the 'Best Huawei Enterprise routers' Hall of Fame!

Here are the previous Forum discussions about AR Series access routers.

The future is now with the NetEngine 8000 Series routers. Designed for NOW with TOMORROW's technology, the NetEngine 8000 Series routers are not just polyvalent, but also poly...available. Polyvalent because they can act as a wide range of jobs (WAN core nodes, large network access nodes, DCI nodes, campus or large-scale IDC network egress) and poly-available because they come in different shapes and sizes -

large chassis, compact card-equipped box and fixed box.

NetEngine 8000 Series routers are the embodiment of a hassle-free environment. They represent the ideal scenario for a customer who doesn't need any boundaries in their day-to-day activity, which has brought the series numerous awards. Did I mention they are among the best Huawei Enterprise routers?

Other have too. Check what they've said about NE Series routers here.

Hi Arabyte3,
NE routers are mainly used at the aggregation layer and core layer and have higher performance. NE routers are generally used in large enterprises.
AR routers are usually deployed at the access layer and aggregation layer and are generally used in small- and medium-sized enterprises.
If you want to buy Huawei routers, you are advised to contact pre-sales personnel or distributors, who will provide more detailed and professional recommendations based on your requirements.
For distributors, please refer to https://partner.huawei.com/web/worldwide/channel-find-partner
I hope it helps!
