Common Reasons for AP Upgrade Failure

You might encountered these upgrading failure before, in this post, we list the most commonly occurred situation for the AP upgrade failure.

1.Link disconnection

2.AP memory is insufficient

3.Error in AP upgrade file

4.Upgrade control blocks are full or downloaded, and the number of APs has reached the maximum number of FTP connections.

When AC mode is upgraded, a control block will be applied for each AP to control the process of AP upgrade. If the current control block has reached 32, then the AP to be upgraded will be set as failed.

When upgrading FTP or SFTP mode, if the number of downloaded APs has reached the maximum number of connections, the upgraded APs will also be set as failed.

5.FTP Configuration Error

6.Network transmission capacity is too low to exceed the maximum transferable time range
