Q1: Is the lab done by connecting to a physical lab or is it done via virtual topology over ENSP?
A: It's a Virtual topology and similar like eNSP, so if you have eNSP, you can do practice on eNSP.
Q2: What are the processes of the lab? TS, diagnose, configure, etc
A: In the English version HCIE LAB exam, only configure, there is no TS and diagnose.
Q3: How many hours does the lab stages take?
A: Normally it is 8 hours, but we have 1 hour break for having lunch.
Q4: Is taking the LAB exam at Huawei office?
A: You are recommended doing the exam in Huawei office.
Q5: What are the interview topics:
A: The interview topics include layer two proctocol (such as STP/RSTP/MSTP/SmartLink/QINQ/ARP/MAC address flapping, etc.), and IGP protocol (such as OSPF/ISIS) and BGP protocol, multicast, IPV6,MPLS, iStack/CSS, and features (VRRP/BFD.NQA,NAT). And also we will interview project experience (How to design a network, how to troubleshooting, etc.)
Q6.Are there new technologies in lab subjects? such as SDN-SDWAN.
A: No, the LAB exam is for traditional network.
Q7. Is there any training for HCIE-R&S?

Q8: Can I use notepad during the exam?
A: You can not use notepad, but the exam environment is good, you can copy and paste, when paste you can edit.
