Hello, everyone!
Cable Routing–Prevent the cable from coiling
Do not route or pull the cable in such a way that it may get coiled or twisted.

Cable Routing–Route signal cables separate from power cables
Signal cables and power cables should be bundled separately. Do not bundle these two types of cables together; otherwise, the services will be affected.

Auxiliary devises Installation–Use exchange side and cable side terminal blocks correctly
The exchange side and cable side terminal blocks must not be used mixedly. Use the terminal blocks correctly. Make sure that the terminal block that can be installed with protective units is used as the cable side terminal block.

Auxiliary devises Installation–Install protective units on all cable side terminal blocks
In the areas with frequent lightning strikes, the cable side terminal blocks must be installed with protective units. Otherwise, a serious lightning strike may damage the boards on an entire shelf. After punching the external lines, be sure to install all the protective units.

Lightning-Protection Grounding–Use the special lightning-protection socket
In the on-site installation, make sure that you use the special lightning-protection socket. If the special lightning-protection socket is not used or is used improperly, lighting strike hazards may exist.

Lightning-Protection Grounding–Ground the metallic wire of optical fibers properly
Ground the metallic wire (it enhances the mechanical strength of the optical fibers). Otherwise, the instantaneous high temperature caused by the lightning strike may melt the fiber core.

Lightning-Protection Grounding–Ground the subscriber cable properly
Ground the metallic jacket of the external subscriber cable when it enters the outdoor cabinet.

That's all for today's analysis of equipment installation issues.
