Hi,
Today I'll be sharing some common mistakes that are made during Wifi design and consequently, organizations can't make the most out of it. I'll be focuing mainly on the WLAN planning mistakes in the Education sector WIFI design. So, lets start with the most common one:
APs are installed in corridors to cover rooms.
Normally APs are installed in the corridors to cover the classrooms but fall short in terms of signals stregth and can't cover the area properly. So, instead a "W" formation should be used to cover the area properly.

Common error 2: Wall-through coverage

Common error 3: APs are installed in the metal ceiling

Common error 4: The AP is installed outside the room

Common error 5: APs in large classrooms are installed on the wall

Common error 6: The outdoor AP coverage distance is too far

I hope during design phase, you'll avoid these mistakes and will try to make a better WIFI design.
Please do let me know in comments, if there are any questions.
