We have not been able to execute this command on our OLTs (MA5600T with software version V800R017C10 and also MA5603T with software version V800R017C10) for testing purposes, as it is not recognized. Can you please tell us the possible cause for why this command is not being recognized? How can we execute a manual detection process?
This command is used to manually check and isolate rogue ONTs. In normal conditions, ONTs transmit optical signals according to the time stamp allocated by the OLT. If an ONT that is not allocated a time stamp transmits optical signals, the optical signals will conflict with the optical signals transmitted by other ONTs. As a result, the normal communication of other ONTs is affected. Such an ONT that does not transmit optical signals according to the allocated time stamp is called a rogue ONT.
Run the config command to enter global config mode, and then run the interface gpon command to enter GPON mode, or run the interface epon command to enter EPON mode.
Command:
anti-rogueont manual-detect 0
This operation will interrupt the services of the ONT(s) connnected to this port
Are you sure to continue? (y/n)[n]: y
System Response
The system displays the message "This operation will interrupt the services of the ONT(s) connected to this port" and "Are you sure to continue? (y/n)[n]" after this command is executed successfully. Enter y to confirm the checking and isolatation of rogue ONTs.
