I wish someone can explain me the big difference between colored optical modules and colorless optical modules

Colored optical modules support fixed wavelengths. Colorless optical modules support multiple wavelengths and combine them into white light. Therefore, colorless optical modules support tunable wavelengths.

Basic difference is of mechansim, one is dynamic and other is static

Colorless are Tuneable, mean you can tune to any supported wavelength, While Colored one is Fixed and worked on designated Wavelength.
